Little Pine’s Halloween is a children's story for Halloween, written by Nina Tisara of Alexandria, Virginia.
“Little Pine’s Halloween” is a story I wrote when my children were young. The backstory is that when the trees turned colors in the fall, they looked to me as if they were dressing for a Halloween party and I turned that vision into a story about how the pine trees must have felt left out since they didn’t change color. The kids liked the story, especially Lynn, the youngest.
Recently, I unearthed a typed version of the story and scanned it so they would each have a digital copy. Lynn still loves it and suggested I turn it into a book. And now it is!
The front and back covers have photographs of mosaics I created that show Little Pine and Mother Pine surrounded by colorful trees.
