December 14, 2011 marks the 100th anniversary of the first known human presence at the South Pole - that of the Norwegian exploration party lead by Roald Amundsen. Not coincidentally it is also the publication date of South Pole / Polo Sur, this bilingual volume by Venezuelan poet Maria Teresa Ogliastri.
