How fast 2022 went by. Here we are, half way through December. Yesterday it was Summer and I was driving through Scotland to buy Harris Tweed in the northwest most corner of the country. With the tweed I have sewed two purses and many hats, most of which have sold!
My other big adventure this year was a trip to New York City, where I bought new items for the Shop. That has made for a jolly display of matching scarves and berets. I am finding it hard to keep enough new hand-made products in stock, so adding more items helps.
I have had many great markets this December, including an indoor Holiday Bazaar in a care home. I wasn't sure what to expect, and was surprised at a steady stream of residents, interested in my history books, cards and berets.
Outdoor markets have been challenging, out in the cold. I still have great gifts to choose from, including my hand printed and sewed Christmas stockings! These are modeled after my own childhood stocking, with added ribbon, bows and buttons.
I have been printing up a storm of sweatshirts, long sleeve T-shirts and kids sweatshirts. They are a steady seller, but I have some of each left.

Until my next newsletter in January, I wish you happy holidays and a joyous new year!
