My new design for shirts and sweatshirts has been quite a hit. The shirts were first shown at Taste of Old Town North in late September. The event, on a grassy lawn in Montgomery Park, had vendors and live performances. My t-shirts are in bright colors for adults and kids, printed in gold and other inks. I also had the 2nd Edition of my book, A Scottish Migration to Alexandria, printed bags and framed art.
I have been at two markets lately, on lower King Street, and at West End Market. I ordered thick, Hanes EcoSmart sweatshirts and printed them with the new design. A second load of sweatshirts in more colors are now being printed. You can find my shirts and sweatshirts at the Markets, or at Made in ALX in North Old Town.
In the Yellow Dot workshop, I have been sewing! I have been working on classy women's visor caps, inspired by the cap that I bought in Scotland this summer. Lately, I am working on soft cotton plaid scarves for winter, to go with the caps. I have gift boxes and tissue for the scarves, so they will make a nice gift.
I am getting geared up for a great Christmas season. I hope you can visit me at the markets, on the website, or see my new items at Made in ALX. See the details below.
Holiday Cards at Yellow Dot
I love making cards for Autumn with its leaves and festive holidays. I have halloween party invitations, singles and 5-packs for Halloween and Thanksgiving.
