My latest handbag works for Halloween or every day. It has a bright red lining and three interior pockets. The largest pocket has a button closure which matches the outer button. A phone pocket and pencil pocket are on the inside as well. The flap comes from a Dracula costume! That fabric has a foam core and is also used to reinforce the buttons in a shape echoing the pointed flap. The quilting is sewed in undulating lines which gives this handbag its unique appearance. My first purses incorporate re-used parts and re-imagined tie-dyed fabric. The interior linings are new cloth. Purses have snap closures, and interior zippers. Another online retailer has jacked the price up to an unreasonable amount. Brooke Stoddard is a local author whose writing really holds your attention.
