Pete is a direct descendant of William Gregory from "A Scottish Migration to Alexandria." This was Pete's second visit for me, but not his first to Alexandria. Baking Pies Printing bags for holidays New Green Cap Finishing the Film I almost finished a film telling the story of my book, A Scottish Migration to Alexandria. During covid, I came to a standstill on the film. There was too much work to do, I felt, and I gave up. I wrote and published the book instead. September 2024 News from Yellow Dot Shop Art Show at Del Ray Artisans Autumn Events Accepted into Del Ray Artisans My first piece of art was accepted into this iteration of Del Ray Artisans new Exhibition. I say "this iteration" of Del Ray Artisans because 33 years ago I was a founding member of this neighborhood arts group, when we were in Greener Cleaner's space on Mount Vernon Avenue. Yellow Dot Shop August 2024 News   New Hats in the Works   I returned from travel in late July, having missed record heat in Alexandria. It is thrilling to be moving into some cooler weather. In addition to outdoor plans like kayaking, and going to a baseball game, August is my time to plan my Fall items for the Shop. Today I will start painting my dark colored baseball caps.
