How fast 2022 went by. Here we are, half way through December. Yesterday it was Summer and I was driving through Scotland to buy Harris Tweed in the northwest most corner of the country. With the tweed I have sewed two purses and many hats, most of which have sold!   My other big adventure this year was a trip to New York City, where I bought new items for the Shop. Art on the Avenue in Del Ray is in its 27th year! I remember before the event began, when Del Ray was still an upcoming place. This festival has grown to stretch almost the entirety of Mount Vernon Avenue, and has thousands of visitors. I have only been a vendor at Art on the Avenue one other time, when I published my calendar, Driving to Pittsburgh. My new design for shirts and sweatshirts has been quite a hit. The shirts were first shown at Taste of Old Town North in late September. The event, on a grassy lawn in Montgomery Park, had vendors and live performances. My t-shirts are in bright colors for adults and kids, printed in gold and other inks.
